Pure water, poles and no ladders

We clean windows with a water-fed pole system. The water is filtered until there is nothing left in it, pumped up a carbon-fibre pole to a soft brush, and used to scrub and then rinse the glass. Because there are no minerals in the water it dries without a mark, so nothing needs squeegeeing or wiping. Frames, sills and door surrounds are cleaned every visit, before the glass, so the muck is not rinsed back down onto it.

It also means we reach three storeys, skylights, Velux windows and conservatory roofs from the ground. No ladders on the render, no one on the conservatory, and the top windows that never get done are done every time.

Regular window cleaning rounds

Most of our customers are on a four or eight-weekly round. You get a text the day before and we come whether you are in or not, so nobody has to wait in. There is no contract; if you want to skip a visit or stop, you tell us. Rounds run through Rossendale and the towns around it, Haslingden, Rawtenstall, Bacup, Ramsbottom, Bury, Accrington and Burnley, and we add streets as the rounds fill up, so ask even if you think you are out of the way.

One-off cleans are fine too, before a house goes on the market, after building work, or for the windows that a regular cleaner will not touch because they are too high.

Terraces, town houses and awkward access

A lot of houses round here are stone terraces with the back windows over a yard and a ginnel, or three-storey town houses where the top floor has never been cleaned since the scaffold came down. The poles reach both from the ground. If the only way to the back is through the house, we can do the back on a day you are in and the front on the regular round.

UPVC frames, conservatories and the bits that go green

White UPVC frames go grey and green in this climate, and the sills and the bottom of the frames collect a black line of algae. A one-off UPVC deep clean brings the frames back to white and is worth doing once a year even if you clean the glass yourself. Conservatory roofs, which nobody can reach and everybody forgets, are cleaned with the same pole system and the difference in light inside is noticeable straight away.

Commercial window cleaning

Shop fronts, offices, schools, care homes and warehouses are cleaned on a schedule that suits the business, early morning or after hours where needed, with RAMS and insurance documents supplied. What window cleaning costs

Price is by the number and size of windows and whether it is a regular round or a one-off. A regular round is cheaper per visit than a one-off because the windows never get bad. Tell us the house type and your postcode and we will give you a fixed price per visit. If you want the gutters, fascias or the solar panels doing on the same visit, say so and we will price it together.
